In partnership with AmeriCorps VISTA and Navy Navy CYP, this is a fully searchable, comprehensive Scholarship Database for Military Dependents supporting ALL branches. The database allows military dependents (spouses, children & more) to quickly determine eligibility for post-secondary scholarships! Hundreds of thousands of dollars go unclaimed yearly due to lack of applications, so NGAW strongly encourages you to search and apply.
Yellow Ribbon Program Scholarships
The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program) is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. This program allows institutions of higher learning (degree granting institutions) in the United States to voluntarily enter into an agreement with VA to fund tuition expenses that exceed either the annual maximum cap for private institutions or the resident tuition and fees for a public institution.
The Yellow Ribbon Program can help you pay for higher out-of-state, private school, foreign school, or graduate school tuition and fees that the Post-9/11 GI Bill doesn’t cover. Check out this website to determine if you’re eligible and if your school takes part in this program.
