The Mission of the National Guard Association of Washington is to serve as a voice to advocate for the Guard Family by providing a platform for action. Your membership helps strengthen our influence on the legislation that affects the Guard, its members and their families. The State of Washington depends on you, and you can depend on NGAW to lobby for the benefits you deserve.

Our Story

About NGAW

The National Guard Association of Washington is a non-profit 501(c)4 professional organization incorporated in 1891 comprised of officer and enlisted members both currently serving and retired. NGAW is organized at the state level with the purpose of advocating for the most effective legislation to maximize Washington State Army and Air Guardsmen benefits and resources.

NGAW is tied and partnered at the national level with the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) representing officers and the Enlisted Association of the United States (EANGUS) representing the enlisted force.

We serve our Washington Soldiers and Airmen through a variety of programs, including educational scholarships, professional development, state sponsored life insurance, and through our 501(c)3 non-profit charitable Foundation, which funds several charitable activities throughout the year.

NGAUS and AUSA have partnered to provide all NGAW/NGAUS members the opportunity to become an AUSA member free of charge throughout the duration of their NGAUS membership.

This opportunity is opt-in and members will need to sign up voluntarily at the link below.

Enlisted NGAW members are automatically enrolled in AUSA through their EANGUS membership and do not need to complete this form.
